While coffee-making techniques are important, to make great coffee, you’ll need some gear.
Coffee Gear We Use
There are too many options for coffee-making gear. To help you get started, here is the gear we own and use for our daily cup of coffee.
- Bryan: I prefer my Bialetti moka pot. I grind beans with our Cuisinart grinder. I like a variety of beans, often locally roasted here in Nova Scotia.
- Dena: I prefer a pour-over coffee – either in my Chemex or stainless steel cone. I use unbleached coffee filters for both. Recently, I’ve been enjoying Lavazza espresso beans.
The grinder was a gift from our daughter many years ago. We also occasionally pull an espresso shot with our Breville espresso maker, a gift from Bryan’s parents.
If you want more information, here is every post we’ve written about gear for making and enjoying a great cup of coffee.
